Twelve months later, we have liftoff! Audacy has released Quindar, a free, open-source, browser-based mission operations platform for spacecraft. In our commitment to advancing a new age of space commerce and exploration, Audacy is developing technology that enables companies of every size to accomplish their missions. Last Friday, Audacy launched with Berkeley’s Google Developers Group, where developers downloaded and explored Quindar.

As a space company, you no longer need to sacrifice budget to acquire expensive and difficult software to run your missions. Quindar is a free application for space companies to be built on top of your mission operations software and to be used for your own campaigns. The rapidly falling cost of launching a satellite has resulted in near exponential growth in the number of spacecraft being deployed and operated. Satellite owners and operators often conduct Mission Operations using their own specialized software developed in-house. This project aims to create a modern, browser-based, real-time data visualization platform to monitor and operate complex engineering systems in a spaceflight mission operations setting. You can use Quindar for your own mission operations, deployed on your own servers, customized to suit your mission needs.
